FAQ

Good questions.

Who is Trueroom for?

Solo founders, consultants, freelancers, and one-person studios with recurring clients. It is deliberately not a team CRM, an accounting platform, or an enterprise planning tool.

How much work is it to keep updated?

You update the small set of numbers you already know: your clients and what each pays monthly, open deals, bank balance, monthly burn, and your own pay. There is no contact database, activity log, or expense ledger to maintain. Most weeks the only change is a deal moving or a client's amount going up.

How is runway calculated?

Trueroom projects your bank balance forward month by month: burn plus what you pay yourself, less MRR. It shows the months you have left and the month the balance crosses the low point you set.

Do I have to connect my bank or Stripe?

No. Trueroom works from the numbers you enter yourself. That keeps setup to a few minutes, avoids handing over banking credentials, and means every figure on the screen traces back to an input you can explain rather than to a sync you have to trust.

What do Client Metrics need, and is that data safe?

Only for that feature, you paste a key for the client's Supabase project and choose which table and rows to count. The key is encrypted before it is stored and only its last four characters are ever shown again. Skip this and the rest of Trueroom works exactly the same.

What does it cost?

Nothing. There is no card to enter and you sign in with an email link. Everything on the pricing page stays free. If something is ever paid, it will be a feature that costs money to run every month — connecting your bank, for instance — and never the pipeline, MRR, runway, and tasks you already have.
